A little pick me up with Prairie Charms

Hey Guys,

First of all I just want to apologise for the lack of posts/social media interaction over the last week or two. I’ve been feeling really run down and crappy lately and have been going back and forth to the doctors for various blood tests etc. It’s not been much fun :( It looks like I have a pretty bad case of iron and vitamin C defficiency which has left me completely drained of energy. I’m still waiting for some test results but hopefully it should all get sorted and I’ll be back to my usual self soon. In the meantime I have been feeling pretty rubbish which is why I was super happy when these goodies from Prairie Charms* turned up.

A while ago Prairie Charms contacted me and asked if I could write about them as they are currently donating 25% of each order to the make a wish foundation. I was more than happy to spread the word as I know this is an amazing charity. I ordered a necklace and some cute heart print straws from the Prairie Charms website (which is full of adorable goodies by the way) and the lovely people at Prairie Charms kindly added two surprise treats to my order. The surprises turned out to be some more straws and a little pot of glitter. I was so happy to receive these gifts and when my order arrived it really cheered me up. Look how cute that packaging is!

As I have been feeling so down I decided to indulge in a little nail art to cheer myself up, using my Prairie Charms glitter. I painted my nails grey to match my Prairie Charms necklace and added the glitter to my thumb nails. The glitter was super easy to apply as all I had to do was dip my nail into the pot. I do love nail art that is quick and easy! I think it turned out pretty good…

The necklace is very pretty and of course I love the tassels which are very in style right now. I also love how the accessories are all hand made.

I’ve been under doctors orders to drink lots of orange and kale juices so my new straws have come in handy. I think they are so cute. I’m probably going to order a few more packs for my upcoming birthday party as I think they will look fab in everybody’s cocktails!Juice and straws

Thank you to Prairie Charms for spreading the positivity and helping to pick me up when I was down. Don’t forget to check them out: www.prairiecharms.co.uk
